Here is a bug that will be encountered when launching PT4.0 after an installation. I am correcting this on all installations that I do and including a disk with the Dither1.2 installer on it until Digidesign starts sending us good PT4.0 installers.

Q: When launching Pro Tools 4.0 Non-TDM, the following error message appears: This copy of TDM Plug-Ins Version
1.4 requires authorization to run. Please insert the original master diskette. What should I do?

A: To remedy this problem cancel the dialog and quit Pro Tools. Next remove the Dither Plug-In from the Plug-Ins folder within the DAE
Folder. The original PT4.0 compatible Dither Plug-In provides both TDM and AudioSuite functionality, and therefore uses the TDM
authorization key. To resolve this problem, the copy protection is being removed from the Dither Plug-In. All registered non-TDM users that
received Pro Tools 4.0 are being sent the new Plug-In automatically. This non-copy protected version of Dither is also available on-line.
