Q:
How do I move the Pro Tools Mix and Edit windows to a second display monitor on a Windows machine? Other windows (plug-ins, transport, etc...) will move across without a problem.
 
A:
When the Pro Tools window is maximized (so that there are no other application windows visible) the Mix and Edit windows are locked within it on the first monitor. To extend the Pro Tools window across both monitors you must first hit the maximize button (to reduce it to a floating window) then extend the edges across to the second display.
