Getting type 2 error message after installing Waves Gold Bundle after having installed the Waves Renaissance Collection that comes on Digi 002 pack CD.
A:
Solution is to completely uninstall all elements of Waves plug-ins. Drag to the trash all elements and restart computer before launching Pro Tools LE. Where to find all elements of Waves plug-ins:1) Mac Hard Drive. Drag all Waves folders to trash. 2) Mac Hard Drive > System Folder > Extensions folder. Drag WaveLib extension to trash. 3) Mac Hard Drive > System Folder > DAE folder > Plug-ins folder. Drag all Waveshells to trash. 4) Mac Hard Drive > System Folder > Preferences folder. Drag Waves preference to trash. 5) Empty trash. Restart computer. 6) Launch Pro Tools LE. All should be fine. 7) Reinstall the Waves Renaissance Collection plug-ins, located on the "Digi 002 pack version 1.0." installation CD.
