Q:
I'm using Traktor and a sony vaio with a PCMCIA CD-ROM drive. A normal boot causes a kernel panic (most users will see this as the num lock and scroll lock lights flashing).
A:
To get around this, at the boot: prompt (where the current manual mentions typing nologo), either type: linux ide2=0x180 or nologo ide2=0x180 and it boots successfully
