Alesis has discovered that some high-end recorders have a very low tolerance for variation in sample rate, bit depth and signal impedance... in some cases less than %1. The Masterlink's digital I/O may vary slightly more that %1. This is something Alesis engineers are researching currently. There is no current "fix" for this. It may require a hardware mod... if they do something about it.
