Q:
Changes in UAD1 version 3.6.0 software for Mac OS X Audio Units
A:
* New Precision Mastering plugin: UAD Precision Limiter
* Improved knob control and resolution in Circular modes (including fine control with Shift key) * Reduced host memory used by multiple instances of Fairchild * Reduced plugin file sizes for faster downloads and less hard disk usage * Resolved UI anomaly in DreamVerb when Horseshoe 2 Shape Blend is at 100% * Added auto-unload of UAD-1 plugins "orphaned" by forced quit, unexpected quit (crash), or improper cleanup by the host application (This is already being done in Windows and Mac OS 9) * Parameters with only two states now display their textual values correctly in "generic" views and on external control surfaces * UAD-1 plugins pass current Apple AU validation tests
