Q:
I've converted Vienna Symphonic Library (GigaStudio) files to MachFive. Why doesn't the VSL Performance tool work in MachFive?
A:
The Performance Tool is not part of the sampled instrument.
The Performance Tool is actually a MIDI module. When you import VSL instruments into MachFive, you get the samples, velocity maps, key maps, loops, envelopes, etc. You can reset the keyswitch assignments. The Performance Tool is not a parameter that can be translated as part of the sampled instrument.
