When I launch Pro Tools I keep getting this message: "Digidesign CD Ripping Service using SPTI has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This is a known issue with Pro Tools 7.2 and is most commonly seen with Pro Tools HD users running version 7.2. According to the Digidesign User Conference, this is occurs when launching Pro Tools while having a CD in the optical drive. Ejecting the CD when launching Pro Tools should enable it to load fine.

This problem seems to be fixed in Pro Tools vs 7.3.
