My Liquid Mix is not working with Protools and my Digi002/003

My Liquid Mix is not working with Protools and my Digi002/003.

In one case, the issue was solved by plugging the LiquidMix into the extra FireWire port on the Digi002/003 (daisychaining), rather than plugging the Liquid Mix directly into the computer's firewire port.
