Q:
My Digidesign product came with a ProTools 7.3 installer, but the Authorization Code in the front of the Getting Started Guide doesn't work.
A:
As of Spring 2007 Digidesign is including PTLEv7.3 installers with some of their products, but have not updated the Getting Started Guide.
If the code in the front of the Getting Started Guide begins "DIGI0700" it will not work for ProTools 7.3. Look for the ProTools v7.3 authorization code on the front of the sleeve that contained the ProTools 7.3 installer software. It should begin "Digi0730".
