When using the HUI templates to control Pro Tools you may see the following message appear:

"Pro Tools is unable to communicate with HUI. Power-cycle HUI and check its connections. Note, if HUI is not in use, update the peripherals dialog to prevent further warnings."

If you see this message then enure you have correctly followed the Pro Tools set up instructions in the Automap Universal Gude (available with the latest ReMOTE SL installer from the ReMOTE SL downloads page). Also ensure that the 'IDPorts' setting in the global menu on the ReMOTE SL is set to 'Ub'. Once you have set this press 'write' to save the global settings and then 'play' to return to play mode.
