Q:
Kontakt 2 or 3 in Leopard is telling me that my EastWest library is not registered even though it is, what should I do?

A:
We have seen a problem with Kontakt 2 and 3 in Leopard where Kontakt does not realize that your EastWest library has been properly registered. This is a problem that affects the Kompakt/Intakt libraries (ie, Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra bundles, etc...).

Please make sure that your Library is installed and activated properly on your computer by using the NI Service Center application, and make sure to start the stand alone (Kompakt/Intakt/Kontakt Player 1) player once after authorization. If that opens up successfully and you can load an instrument in the standalone mode in the respective player (Inatkt/Kompakt/Kontakt Player 1), but in KONTAKT 2 or 3 it still does not work, please do the following:

1) Visit support.soundsonline.com
2) Click the download link for the "Content.plist.zip" file and save it to your desktop.

3) Unzip the file and place it in MacHD>Users>(home)>Library>Preferences. If you get a message that the file already exists, Replace it.

4) If Kontakt is running, quit and re-launch Kontakt. Otherwise, simply launch Kontakt and try loading your EastWest library.
