Q:
Disc #1 of my PLAY product is taking a very long time to install. What should I do?
A:
EastWest's PLAY libraries come on dual-layer DVD discs containing approximately 7.5 GB of information per disc, which takes much longer to install than the amount of information on a standard DVD.
The progress bar that the installer shows is for the progress of the entire installation (all discs) and not the current disc, so it will appear as though it is moving very slowly or not at all while information is being copied from each disc. Please allow at least 45 minutes to an hour for the installation of EACH DISC. The installer will prompt you to put in the next disc when it is ready. Please do no interrupt the installation process, as this will only cause you to have to reinstall and will add much more time to the installation.
