Q:
How do I set up the MOTU 828mkIII to receive clock?
A:
The first thing that will need to be done is to determine where the clock will be coming in from (Word In, SMPTE, S/PDIF, ADAT Optical A, ADAT Optical B). Make sure that the selected source is connected. Now go to the MOTU Audio Console and under the general tab under 'Sample Rate' select the same as the source signal. Now under 'Clock Source' select the option that the source signal is coming in from ( Word In, SMPTE, S/PDIF, ADAT Optical A, ADAT Optical B). The light next to the sample rate under the 'Clock' on the from of the 828mkII shoul now be solid.
