Why does my DR1 have reverb even though I don't want it?

Press the Effect Button and check the bottom right of the Display.
Is there an icon with FX surrounded by Black?
This means FX will be applied on input.
Simply hit the EFFECT button again and check if the FX icon is now surrounded by white (clear) if so, then the Effects are off.
