TT TS or Mono male plugs are about 1/8" SHORTER than the TRS male plugs!!! The TS will not work in a TRS patchbay, the tip will not make contact. Insert cables must be built with TRS plugs. Short the RING to SHIELD of the plug to unbalance the signal
