Question: Can you create and store multi-MIDI channel assignment setups? (In other words, which program is on whisch channel.
Answer: The K2000 can not have more than one multitimbral configuration in memory at a time. However, you can assign each MIDI channel a program then save this configuration to disk by saving MASTER. Found when scrolling to the end of the list of options in Disk Save mode.) This is useful when using an external sequencer with sequences that do not have program changes in them. (You can also save an EVERYTHING File, but this will save all of the RAM objects, which can create a large file.) You can also do a sysex dump of the Master parameters to an external sequencer. (Press Dump while on the Master page to initiate the dump.) |
