Q:
panning, midi Panning on the K2000

A:
Someone wanted to know about K2000/K2500's response to CC#10 (Pan).

1.If your Output is set to Auto or +MIDI it will go to the Pan Position on Note Start. (It won't move until another Note Start.)

2.You can't have Realtime Panning without an F3 Panner Block in VAST.
(The +MIDI Panning in the Output Page is only on note start.)

3.When the F3 VAST Block is Panner, the Upper and Lower Output Pan "*" are reversed.
(Upper * should be hard right, the Lower * hard left.)

4. The Output Upper and Lower Gains are different and need to be made the same.
(+6dB vs. +12 dB)

5. You shouldn't have Output Panning (+MIDI) and F3 Panner (POS) running at the same time.
(It makes an irregular zigzag pan.) If you're using Panner in VAST, make sure that the Outputs are set to Fixed. (Not +MIDI, Auto, or Reverse.)
