Q:
Hooking a K2000 to a Mac
A:
K2000 to a Mac - Yes it can be done! What do you wish to accomplish by having this SCSI connection? The are only really 2 reasons to hook the K2K to the Mac. (1) Transfering sample data to the Mac for editing with Passport's Alchemy sample editing software. (2) If your Mac has a built-in CD-ROM drive you can use the internal CD-ROM to load a K2000 format CD-ROM into the K2000. The Mac and the K2000 "share" the CD-ROM drive. No special termination is needed, however, you will need a Mac utility program called "Access PC" . This program allows the Mac to deal with the K2000's DOS formated disk.
