1. Go to consolidated controlls window , and in Tempo/Meter, select "auto"
2. Go to "basics" menu, open "receive sync", and select "Tap Tempo"
3. Go back to "basics" menu and select "external sync"
4. Record enable conductor track,
5. Initiate recording, and tap note#C3 on your midi controller at the desired   tempo
6. After recording several bars, or the complete tempo track in its entirety,
go back to "Basics" menu and deselect "ext sync"
7. Now play the sequence and check your performance.

Now, select several of the best bars, edit these,
splice them toghether into a contiguous region,
and use the "repeat" feature to automatically
copy and paste the desired amount of measures.

If your music contains ritards and accelerandos,
enter them later, or, if your rythmically capable,
simply play the tempo track from start to finish
and use as is......Happy sequencing!!!!!
