Element just open, not vaporized.

The line fuse is located inside the voltage selector cap.

1) Line fuse should be T 500 mA.

2) Pull the High Voltage transformer winding connector. Test the S.O. cap located next to each set H.V. rectifiers. These caps are across the H.V. winding and they have a habit of going short.

3) The factory repair : pull the cap and DO NOT replace it....
