Q:
I am aware of 4 repairs to date relating to power loss, output volume drops or lacks power, weird operation and burning smell. Some earlier problem went unresolved untill now . We have made the following conclusions: Intermittant power or other problems.
A:
The main power transformer fails slowly, intermittantly or partially, which is unusual as far as transformers go. They usually just go dead and stay dead. If your customer complains of something like "my power is cut in half" or "it doesn't have the punch it used to", it is likely this, even if it doesn't show up right away. -GPB
