Switching Audio Engines... DAE Power mix, Project, Disk i/o, DSP Farm, D24, etc. Switching Audio Engines... without Protools running
A:
1. Quit ProTools and DAE
2. Double-Click the Pro Tools application & IMMEDIATELY hold down the "n" key on your computer keyboard. The Playback Engine dialog appears. 3. Select desired Audio engine. See POWERMIX in the Pro Tools User manual for for information on switching Audio Engines. This can be very handy in a pinch - like when an external drive crashes.
