ProTools 5.0 appears to "hang" when launched the first time. The Mouse moves, no other windows or menus can be accessed.

This is a condition where ProTools seems to take its time initializing and ffinding the PACE Floppy enabeler.
The Solution?... WAIT !!! Leave ProTools in this state for awhile. Eventually, The request for a key disk or key code (depending on hardware / software). Sometimes this will takes 20 minutes to and hour. One user reported leaving it over night.

We have seen this frequently on the following systems. However, we have seen this in other -isolated- scenarios.

G4 /PCI graphics - with 001/PTLE, and PTMix or MixPlus
G4/AGP grahpics - with OS9.0.2 , with 001/PTLE, and PTMix or MixPlus
