Q:
Q.Why does Protools say "not enough disk space available" when I try to "Bounce to disk" and I have plenty of space of free space availible?
Bounce to Disk Problem : an error says "Not enough disk space available" when attempting to bounce
A:
A.Sometimes when in Protools a bounce error message will appear if you have Automation running and you dont select the region before you bounce. This will cause PT's to think the region is the entire song, and if there is a "Break" in the automation , PT's thinks the song is infinitely long! You would never have enough Hard Drive space! Just use the region tool and select all the Tracks from begining to end and then select "Bounce to Disk" and the message should go away!If not, you may want to Defragment your HD , there may not be a large enough "Block" available...
