Q:
My application (Digital Performer, FreeStyle, etc...) says it can't find FreeMIDI.
"There is no current FreMIDI configuration"
A:
An easy fix to solve problems with FreeMIDI is to "Trash Preferences" . This forces FreeMIDI to return to it's original settings as installed from the factory CD.
Steps to trash Freemidi Preferences. 1. QUIT all applications. 2. On your Macintosh HD, locate and open the System Folder 3. In the System Folder, locate and open the Preferences folder 4. Inside the Preferences folder, locate the following items - FreeMIDI Preferences - FreeMIDI Setup Preferences 5. Drag these items into the TRASH 6. Restart your computer 7. On restart, double-click the "FreeMIDI Configuration", verify that it is correct. 8. Leave FreeMIDI OPEN, and launch the FreeMIDI application (like Digital Performer, Audiodesk, Freestyle. etc)
