"I turned "USE OMS WHEN AVAILABLE" -off- in FreeMIDI, but FreeMIDI is still using OMS.... why is that?"
A:
To disable "Use OMS when available" effectively. follow these steps:
1. Launch FreeMIDI 2. From the FILE menu, choose FreeMIDI Preferences 3. UN-check "Use OMs when available", and click OK 4. Save FreeMIDI, and QUIT. 5. Immediately restart your computer. 6. Launch FreeMIDI again, and configure FreeMIDI.
