Can I use IDE drives as an internal drive in my S5000/S6000?
A:
Yes, however there are some accesories needed.
IDE drives require the optional IB-ID2SC IDE-to-SCSI converter board. This converter board option converts from IDE to SCSI, AND converts power connections for IDE 4-pin connections. *** The ide option built in the S6000 is currently NON-functional! See our listing for drive compatibility.
