Q:
Can I bring the drive from the MX-2424 to a computer DAW for editing if I want?
A: Yes. Presently, the MX-2424 can support Mac disk format (PC format coming soon), and can record SDII (Sound Designer II) files. We are currently working with sequencer and DAW companies to be fully compatible with our playlist, called Open TL. In the meantime, you can simply convert the project to tape mode, which creates one large audio file for each track, then import those audio files into your DAW.
