Q:
How do I monitor my inputs on my Lexicon Core2?
A:
Launch LexPanel (from the icon on the taskbar by the clock), go to Punch, checkmark Enable Punch, click Monitor to enable it, and then highlight in blue the inputs (hold shift or control to select multiple channels) which you would like routed to the outputs (which you must also highlight in blue.)
The routing provides zero latency (real-time) monitoring regardless of the application you use. Typical routing would be AD1-4 highlighted and DA 1,2. This will route inputs 1-4 to outputs 1-2. It is not possible to route 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4, etc as the output is limited to 2 channels (stereo pair.) The monitor level slider controls the volume you hear the incoming signal, but does not affect recording level.
