Q. What is the Multimenu and how do I use it?
 
A:

The Multimenu button allows you to name, save and restore a group of parameters that you would use with a song such as Preset / Volume / Pan assignments for each of the 32 MIDI Channels.
To use a Multisetup follow this procedure.
1. Set the Proteus 2000 up for Multitimbral Operation. (See page 44 of the Operation Manual).
2. Select the Preset, Volume,and Pan portion for MIDI Channel 1 by moving the cursor under the parameter and turning the Data Entry Control Knob.
3. Move the cursor under the MIDI Channel parameter and use the Data Entry Control Knob to select the next MIDI Channel.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for the other MIDI Channels.
5. Once all the parameters are set for all the MIDI Channels that you want to use then press the MULTI button.
6. Turn the Data Entry Control Knob to select the MULTISETUP NAME menu.
7. Enter a name for your new Multisetup.
8. Turn the Data Entry Control Knob to select the SAVE SETUP TO menu.
9. Select a destination to save your setup too.
10. Press the ENTER button.
11. Press the MULTI button to return to the main menu.

To restore a Multisetup press the MULTI button. Turn the Data Entry Control Knob to select the RESTORE MULTISETUP menu. Move the cursor to the bottom line and turn the Data Entry Control Knob to select the setup you would like to restore then press the ENTER button.
