When is the Serial Number needed?
A:
The serial number is needed when installing Reason and for registering your product. Please note that Reason will require the serial number to be entered again if you perform any significant system updates such as installing more memory etc.
On the mac, switching virtual memory on and off can be seen as a system upgrade by Reason
