Q:
I've installed the Reason 1.0.1 update and it doesn't work. Now what?
A: Some users have reported problems when installing Reason 1.0.1. If this happens to you, please do as follows: If you can't launch Reason at all after installing the update It seems that the installer fails to overwrite some critical files on some systems. To fix this, please delete the following files: * Mac: System Folder:Extensions:Reason Engine System Folder:Extensions:REX Shared Library System Folder:Extensions:ReWire System Folder:Preferences:Reason preferences * Windows c:\Windows\REX.dll c:\Windows\ReWire.dll c:\Windows\Reason.prf (if present) c:\Windows\System\ReWire.dll (if present) Please note that this complete uninstall will delete your settings from Reason 1.0 so you will have to make audio and MIDI settings when you launch Reason 1.0.
