How do I change the S/PDIF mode on my Tascam DA45 to work with my other digital gear?

The default setting for the unit is to send Professional / AES/EBU S/PDIF. This can be changed to Consumer by using the Menu button to select digital format, and then use the jog wheel to select Consmr. This will solve any problems with gear not recognizing the digital signal of the DA45.
