In Digital Performer 3, the screen often freezes, refresh rate slows down, and when a window is closed, a "hole" is left behind it that doesn't get refreshed.

This is a known issue in DP3, and has been fixed in the Dp 3.0.1 - now available at motu.com

Here are some additional things we've found can help.

1. Set your monitor resolution to it's default setting.
2. Use Apple System Profiler to determine what kind of display card you have.
- If you have an NVDA card, disable all ATI extensions (using Extensions Manager)
- If you have an ATI card, disable all NVDA extensions manager " ".
3. Disable 3D graphics extensions, like Quickdraw, Apple QD3D, etc.
