Q:
During capture, the preview window on my Macintosh monitor is jerky and exhibits tearing effects.
A:
- The size of the preview window, along with the performance of the video system and PCI bus on your Macintosh, will effect the performance of the video preview. If you have a PCI based video card you should be able to achieve full window previews with minimal jerkiness or tearing.
If you are using the internal video on a Macintosh and the previews are jerky you may want to reduce the size of the preview window to either Half or Quarter size. Refer to the Setting up the Aurora Fuse™ section of the manual. If the video is still jerky after all of the above steps have been taken, simply turn off the video preview as noted in Setting up the Aurora Fuse™ . |
