Dell Laptop making hum in audio card.
A:
It's possible some Dell Inspirion 8000 series laptops have been causing hum to come through any audio card plugged into them. This can be resolved by unplugging the power supply and running on battery (though this is not a good solution). This info was supplied by MOTU.
