Q:
Does the US-428 control subgroups, and if so how are these implemented? Can you "bank" the 428's eight faders to cover the subgroups?
A:
Depending on the implementation within the host application, the US-428’s faders can be programmed to address most continuous controllers, including groups, VSTi and ReWire faders. In Cubase, for example, the Bank selector will scroll through audio mixer channels, then MIDI mixer, VSTi, ReWire and group faders. (These can also be directly selected within the program.)
