digitech BP8: Is the BP8 really just an RP7 with a few tweaks?
A:
Not at all...the entire circuit board was redesigned with the bass player in mind. The compressor for example was completely redesigned because the requirments of the bass player are completely different than the guitar player. Likewise the PreAmp and tube sections were redone according to the needs of the bass...not the guitar.
