Q:
johnson General Knowledge: How do I save patches from my Johnson Amp into my computer and then retrieve them?
A:
You'll need a computer with a MIDI-capable sound card and MIDI cables to connect your computer to your unit. You'll also need some sort of MIDI sequencing software or sysex data recording program. To back up presets, connect the MIDI out of the processor to the MIDI in of the computer. Then start the computer program recording. Start sending the data by using the utility menu. To restore your presets, reverse the MIDI connection and press play or send on the computer program. The processor will automatically receive the data.
