How do I get DP to recognize my Digi001’s S/PDIF I/O using Direct I/O?

In DP , go to Basics , then Audio System Options, then configure HardWare driver.Click on “Hardware Setup”. Then choose “Other Options”.Make sure your Optical is set to “ADAT”. Now click “OK”. Make sure your Sync Mode is set to “S/PDIF” when recording Digitally.Close up windows and now your I/O will be labled 1 thru 18. S/PDIF I/O’s will be either 9+10 or 17+18.
