Q:
What can I do to get my Roland Studiopack working on PC?
A:
First, try a hard reset of the mixer. This is achieved by:
Press SYSTEM, F1-F4 ON/OFF button, F4 button, use the VALUE dial to put a check in the ALL box (just spin it clockwise) press ENTER three times. Then load the Logic environment (Shift-F1, Yes). Change the bank select to green (tracks 13-24) and raise the faders all the way up, down, and back to where you wish them to be set. This will calibrate and reset the faders in Logic. The RMBD Locked should have also flashed on the screen. This means the PCI card and the mixer are communcating. If you still have problems, try uninstalling the PCI card driver by going to the device manager in Windows (Right-click My Computer, properties, device manager, sound video & game controllers) and removing the Roland RPC card. Then, without shutting down as it may request, search (Start, Find, Files & folders) for *delta*.* and delete any files in the Windows directory. Also search for RPC1cpl.cpl and delete this as well. You can now reboot and either use the drivers on your CDrom or download any Midiman Delta driver.
