I have just attached my Glyph CD-R/RW for the first time. All seems well...

I have just attached my Glyph CD-R/RW for the first time. All seems well except that Toast and/or Jam says no burner found. Why is this?

Check first to see if have the latest version of Toast or Jam. Toast Updater Jam Updater If you have a Glyph Wildfire
CD-RW, you may not have the Toast FireWire extension enabled or the Apple FireWire extensions installed or
enabled.
