How do I change IRQs in Windows 2000?
A:
Windows 2000 by default uses an alternate method of IRQ assignment than Win98 and ME use, ACPI. Changing PCI slots does nothing to change the assigned IRQ of a particular device. There are two fixes for this:
1. If you are installing Windows 2000, during setup, select 2. Reconfigure the ACPI in device manager. Need all drivers ready when reboots
