Q:
I get "Error -1" messages, and/or Logic Audio crashes without any error messages during normal operations. What could be the reason for this?
A:
Sometimes there is a conflict between Logic and several System extensions. Boot up your computer by holding the "shift" key. All system extensions will be then deactivated. If Logic then runs, you should activate the system extensions one after another until the error appears once again. Permanently disable the offending system extension.
Tip: Only use those Extensions you need when running Logic. Any extension utilizes RAM, processing power and potentially decreases stability.
