Although the ALI USB controllers are not officially supported, there have been some successful installations. This is not guaranteed to work, however. We still recommend sticking with an Intel chipset on the motherboard, and thus an Intel USB controller. Check Tascam's website for the most up-to-date compatability list at www.tascam.com
