Q:
I want a more distorted amp tone. Other amps use the Gain control to do this. Will that work on the AxSys?
A:
No. The Gain knob is actually used to balance volume between different presets on the AxSys (it’s been relabeled Channel Volume on the AX2 to avoid confusion). Use the Drive knob to increase saturation (amp distortion).
