First, you must be sure you have software version 2.0 or higher by going to utility until you find the software version.

The Masterlink works differently than computer file handling in that you must move a file FROM a location, not TO a location as on a computer.

Go to the playlist you wish to move the files into and use the track skip buttons to select the audio file. Hit track move, and it will insert the file in the current playlist, then you can remove it from your other playlist.
