Q:
When I load my samples from hard drive they dissappear when I turn the machine off... Why?
A:
No matter what or where you load samples from into the
Sample Ram of the Kurzweil, whenever you turn the machine off, your sample data will be gone. Now the Program Data may still be present but the actual Samples must be loaded everytime you want to use that particular voice. The only way to make your samples always be ready for you to use whenever you boot up the keyboard, is to create a MACRO disk. (see rec. 3127)
