I can't get my CDROM to show up in disk mode.
A:
There a few key things that need to be in place before using your CDrom with your Kurzweil -
1) make sure that the terminator switch is set to disable.. (if you do not have a hard drive in the machine 2) make sure you DO have a terminator on the CDrom itself 3) connect the CDrom to the SCSI port...(not the SCSI thru) 4) set the SCSI ID of the drive to 3,4, or 5... (never 6 because that is the internal memory of the machine and try to stay away from 0,1 and 2 because those are usually numnbers saved for a hard drive 5) Most times you will need to turn the CDROM on 1st, then the keyboard so that the keyboard can recoqnize all perhiphals on the SCSI chain... NOTE: in some older models, it is suggested to turn on both items at the same time) 6) hit the disk button and dial to your number...
